Nothing Phone (4a) Pro has Arrived in Market

Nothing Phone (4a) Pro has Arrived With an all new camera setup, the Phone (4a) Pro is made for the creatives.

Design

The signature transparent design brings together the camera and Glyph Matrix in one cohesive panel, blending seamlessly into the metal body for a smooth, gapless finish that catches the light beautifully. Silver and Black pay homage to the series’ professional roots, whilst Metallic Pink brings a warmer, fashion-forward side to Nothing’s design identity.

The Phone (4a) Pro raises the bar with a precision-crafted full-metal aluminium body, clean flat surfaces, and a slim 7.95 mm profile — making it the slimmest full-metal Nothing phone to date. The metal finish feels as good as it looks, while also improving cooling through a 5,300 mm² vapour chamber system, and offering impressive resilience with IP65 dust and water resistance, plus submersion protection.

Glyph Matrix

The Phone (4a) Pro raises the bar with a flagship-grade Glyph Matrix composed of 137 mini-LEDs. While using fewer lights than before, it covers a 57% larger area and is 100% brighter at around 3000 nits, delivering sharper, more detailed notifications. Even without a dedicated Glyph Button, popular Glyph Toys (such as Battery, Timer, Digital Clock, Solar Path, and Glyph Mirror) are fully supported, including integration into the Glyph Matrix AOD experience.

At the heart of it all is you. Customisation lets you assign personalised light patterns for calls, contacts, and notifications — turning your phone into something that genuinely feels like yours. The upgraded Glyph Interface quietly steps back from the screen, keeping your focus on real life rather than a cluttered display, and transforms notifications into functional or playful light patterns, so nothing important is ever missed.

Camera

The Phone (4a) Pro takes photography to new heights. Featuring a Sony OIS main camera and a 50MP 3.5x OIS telephoto periscope lens, it offers up to 140x zoom—the longest zoom ever on a Nothing phone and an industry-leading capability in its class. Alongside a versatile Sony ultra-wide and 32MP wide-angle selfie camera, it captures everything from sweeping landscapes and true-to-life portraits to distant stages and crowded exhibitions with unmatched clarity.

Powered by TrueLens Engine 4, it supports Ultra XDR photos and 4K Ultra XDR video, applying HDR effects similar to Dolby Vision for lifelike colours, vivid highlights, and immersive detail.

Professional presets, adjustable settings, AI Photo Eraser, and new watermarks ensure effortless creation and sharing, turning every moment into a masterpiece.

Performance

The Phone (4a) Pro takes performance further with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, offering 27% faster CPU, 30% improved graphics, and 65% stronger AI capabilities. Paired with flagship LPDDR5X memory and UFS 3.1 storage, it achieves up to 100% faster memory operations and 147% faster storage reads, ensuring ultra-smooth app switching and rapid launches.

The 7th-generation Qualcomm AI Engine brings AI performance close to Snapdragon 8 series devices, supporting on-device generative AI with 65% faster results than previous models.

When it comes to gaming, we made sure you’re covered. BGMI at 120 Hz and PUBG at 90 Hz provide flawless gaming under the heaviest loads. Phone (4a) Pro handles AI, gaming, photography, and daily tasks with effortless speed and responsiveness.

Battery and Charging

The Nothing Phone (4a) series is powered by a 5080 mAh battery, supporting up to 17 hours of mixed use for music, video, gaming, and messaging. Rapid 50W Fast Charging refills the battery to 60% in just 30 minutes for when you need a quick top up.

Display

Phone (4a) Pro raises the standard further with a 6.83″ AMOLED display, 1.5K resolution, 450 PPI, and a 144 Hz refresh rate for silky-smooth swipes. Peak brightness reaches 5000 nits (HDR), making it Nothing’s brightest screen yet, perfectly rendering Ultra HDR photos and videos with stunning contrast.

Gamers benefit from 2500 Hz touch sampling for instant responsiveness, and 2160 Hz PWM dimming ensures comfortable viewing in low-light conditions. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection guarantees durability, combining flagship-level performance with everyday practicality.

Software

For the Phone (4a) series, the first major update (NOS 4.1) introduces a more vibrant, customisable lock screen, two relaxation-focused widgets, upgraded Live Notifications across the screens and Glyph Interface. Polished animations, frame-interpolated transitions, and faster app launches make every swipe and interaction effortless and highly intuitive. NOS 4.1 builds on Nothing OS 4 with a smarter, smoother, and more personal experience that keeps you informed, relaxed, and fully in control.
