Mobile phone brand helio has launched the helio 62 smartphone in Bangladesh, featuring a 7,000mAh battery, 120Hz display, 6GB RAM and Android 16. Helio 62 features a 6.78-inch IPS punch-hole display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio and brightness of up to 800 nits. Its 120Hz refresh rate is designed to provide smoother scrolling and gaming.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 chipset featuring a 2.0GHz octa-core processor built on a 12nm process. It also includes a Mali-G52 MC2 graphics processing unit. The smartphone comes with 6GB of physical RAM and support for an additional 6GB of virtual RAM. It offers 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 512GB through a memory card.
Its 7,000mAh battery supports 33W fast charging. The company claims the battery can reach 50% charge in 43 minutes and become fully charged in around one hour and 45 minutes. The rear camera system comprises a 50 MP autofocus primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP macro lens. The front has a 32 MP fixed-focus camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
Camera features include beauty, group selfie, portrait and night modes, alongside dual-view video recording. Helio 62 carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. Its Iron Guard Protection is designed to improve durability and protect the device against accidental drops from heights of up to one metre.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, NFC, a gyroscope and a magnetometer. The phone also features a customisable Halo Light for notifications. "Our goal behind developing the Helio 62 was to demonstrate that buying a smartphone within a budget does not necessarily mean compromising on essential features," helio Director of Sales and Marketing Mohammad Abu Sayem said.
"The phone has been designed for people seeking a device that can support work, entertainment and everyday needs without stretching their budget," he added. The smartphone comes with a 15-month warranty and is available in Titanium Fog, Mint Green and Silk Green.
